Black beans have long been a protein-rich staple food of many Latin cultures and are now enjoyed by most cultures around the world.  Black Bean Soup is a favorite in our family and with the growing spicy food trend, we’ve simplified this Southwestern favorite with an easy to prepare mix that tastes homemade.  We use premium black beans, garlic, onion, celery and jalapenos to create a flavorful, rich and hearty soup mix that has a little kick.  Just add diced tomatoes and chicken to this mix and serve with your favorite bread.  Makes 6 servings (1 cup each).
